Who am I ?

My name is Cécile Azard. I’m French living in Normandy with Canadian origins !

I spent 17 years as a nun in a monastery, and since 2018, I have become a professional coach.

I walked my first Camino de Santiago in June and July 2019, as part of a major life change. For me, it was my “discernment retreat” at the end of a year of stepping back from my community.

At first, I thought I would only walk the Camino once… but I ended up loving it!

Since then, I’ve regularly set out on different trails, whether on the Camino or elsewhere.

These walks have become a time for personal renewal and meaningful encounters that continue to nourish me.

Since then, I've walked more than 2000 kilometers / 1245 miles on various camino routes (Camino Francès, Camino del Norte, Camino Portuguese and The Way to Mont Saint-Michel (local Camino for me!).

The Camino also made me discover the richness of accompanying others while walking. I'm coaching people while walking in Normandy and on the portuguese Camino from Porto - my favorite one ! Either on one to one journey, or with small group.

I often get asked the same questions, and I want to help you prepare to LIVE this wonderful experience in this blog. I will also share my own experiences to support you on this amazing journey—both internally and externally!

Buen Camino ! Ultréïa and suséïa !

"Alone, we go faster;

TOGETHER, we go further."
